From Nagasaki to the World! ONE DEJIMA Joins Global Festa 2026 for the First Time
ONE DEJIMA joined “Global Festa JAPAN 2026,” one of the largest international cooperation events in Japan, for the first time on October 17–18, 2026, in Tokyo.
The main goals of our participation were to build awareness in the Tokyo area and to connect directly with students and professionals interested in international cooperation and global business.
To share our story, supporting global shipping infrastructure from our base in Nagasaki, we had warm, insightful conversations with many visitors through our exhibition booth (#168) and a special stage session.
Exhibition Booth (#168): New Connections Through Dialogue
Many visitors, including students from the Tokyo area, business professionals, and industry partners, visited our booth over the two days.
Visitors asked fundamental questions such as, “What does ONE DEJIMA do?” and “Why is your office in Nagasaki?” In response, our team shared our stories on:
- Our daily business activities and core responsibilities
- Why we chose Nagasaki as our office location
- The real experience of working with global teams from a local city
Through these conversations and our visitor survey, many students told us, “Even though I live in Tokyo, I am very interested in a global career based in a local city.” It was a valuable opportunity to connect with potential talent.
Special Stage Session:Learning About Shipping and Nagasaki Through Quizzes and Talk
On the special stage, our CEO, Mr. Toyama, and ONE DEJIMA team members gave a 40-minute session.
In the first half, we hosted an interactive quiz using “Slido.” We shared fun facts, such as “over 99% of Japan’s trade (by weight) relies on ocean transport,” and highlighted Nagasaki’s history as a global gateway for Japan.
In the second half, we introduced the daily life at our Nagasaki office, where members from 10 different countries work together. We showed the audience that professionals can work on large-scale global projects regardless of location.
Connecting with so many students and partners from diverse backgrounds was an inspiring experience for us.

ONE DEJIMA was established in Nagasaki and recently celebrated its first year of operations.
With the support of ONE’s headquarters in Singapore (GHQ), our local partners in Nagasaki, and the dedication of every team member, we have steadily expanded our scope and continue to grow as a vital part of ONE’s global network.
Even within the ONE Group, we are aware that our presence is not yet fully recognized.
To commemorate our first anniversary and increase awareness, we created a company introduction video.
The video showcases how ONE DEJIMA was established, the core operations entrusted to us by GHQ, and the dynamic team driving our daily work—all set against the beautiful backdrop of Nagasaki, a historic gateway to the world.
As a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) hub supporting ONE’s core operations, we are committed to creating greater value together with our colleagues around the world.
Through this video, we hope to share what kind of organization ONE DEJIMA is and the future we envision.
We also hope it will inspire new colleagues to join us in taking on the next challenge.
