【Exhibition Report】ONE DEJIMA Participated in “DEJIMA EXPO 2026”!
ONE DEJIMA participated as an exhibitor in “DEJIMA Haku 2026” (organized by the DEJIMA Haku Executive Committee), which was held from May 2nd to 6th.

This year, we hosted a wide variety of activities across two venues—the “Kodomo Dejima Haku Venue” and the “Meeting Area”—to help children discover the exciting world of the shipping industry and maritime careers.

Following Last Year’s Huge Success! Container Loading Game & Quiz
We brought back the “Container Loading Game,” which was highly popular at last year’s “Kodomo Job Challenge.” It was memorable to see the children concentrating deeply as they carefully balanced and stacked each container.

Container Ship Research & Coloring Activities
At the same venue, we set up a dedicated corner for container ship research and coloring. ONE DEJIMA employees joined the children in spreading out world maps to trace where various everyday goods come from, filling the blank maps with excitement.
The children seemed fascinated to discover that the items around them actually travel from far-away countries by ship, giving them a real sense of the vital role ocean shipping plays in our lives. They also thoroughly enjoyed coloring, bringing their ideal vessels to life with vibrant colors.

Jointly Developed Content with Saikai Creative Company
Furthermore, we co-developed new games in partnership with Saikai Creative Company, introducing a “Container Quiz” and a digital version of the “Loading Game” to our lineup.
The activities were powered up to let children learn about the roles of containers and shipping companies while having fun. We were delighted to see the children tackling the games with creativity and enthusiastically participating in the quiz.

Highly Popular! Photo Booth with a Real Ship Captain!
We also set up a photo booth where visitors could dress up in captain costumes for a commemorative photo! This year, Captain Sasaki from AOCTEL joined us, offering a unique and special opportunity for children to take photos with a real ship captain.
The booth was filled with smiles and excitement as children, looking sharp in their stylish uniforms, stood proudly alongside Captain Sasaki.

First-Time Initiative! Exclusive ONE DEJIMA Original Merchandise Corner
As a brand-new initiative this year, we also opened our very first “Merchandise Corner.” We offered a selection of unique items, including Nagasaki’s famous Castella sponge cake, traditional Hata kites, and premium specially selected coffee—all featuring exclusive ONE DEJIMA original packaging.
Promoted as “limited-edition items available only here,” the corner generated significant buzz, and we were thrilled to see so many visitors purchasing our products throughout the event.

DEJIMA Haku 2026 provided us with a precious opportunity to introduce the shipping industry and ONE DEJIMA’s various activities to numerous children and their families.
We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone from the ONE Group—specifically the team at ONE Japan and AOCTEL (Advanced Ocean Container Transportation Engineering Laboratory)—for their incredible support during the event.
Thank you so much to everyone who visited our booth!

ONE DEJIMA was established in Nagasaki and recently celebrated its first year of operations.
With the support of ONE’s headquarters in Singapore (GHQ), our local partners in Nagasaki, and the dedication of every team member, we have steadily expanded our scope and continue to grow as a vital part of ONE’s global network.
Even within the ONE Group, we are aware that our presence is not yet fully recognized.
To commemorate our first anniversary and increase awareness, we created a company introduction video.
The video showcases how ONE DEJIMA was established, the core operations entrusted to us by GHQ, and the dynamic team driving our daily work—all set against the beautiful backdrop of Nagasaki, a historic gateway to the world.
As a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) hub supporting ONE’s core operations, we are committed to creating greater value together with our colleagues around the world.
Through this video, we hope to share what kind of organization ONE DEJIMA is and the future we envision.
We also hope it will inspire new colleagues to join us in taking on the next challenge.
