Successful Completion of A3 Workshop for ONE DEJIMA’s Strategic Plan
From August 1st to August 2nd, a two-day A3 workshop was held to discuss the action plan for realizing the ideal state of ONE DEJIMA.
*The A3 Workshop is a method of problem-solving where an entire team discusses and attempts to resolve a specific issue by summarizing the problems, root cause analysis, improvement measures, and goals on a single A3-sized sheet of paper.
On the day of the event, we invited MTI Ltd. as the facilitator, and all employees discussed the specific goals and challenges necessary for our company to achieve its ideal state.

Discussing concrete goals and actions at the A3 workshop made me feel a renewed sense of commitment, understanding that we must put in even more effort and action to reach our ideal state.
Just as with the previous workshop, I feel that having all employees participate held great significance. Going forward, I intend to approach my daily work by always keeping our “ideal state” in mind.

What first surprised me about the A3 workshop was the speed of decision-making. Important company decisions that would usually take time to reach a consensus in typical meetings or discussions were made at an astonishing pace, as everyone simultaneously thought and outputted ideas, then discussed them together.
Because all ONE DEJIMA employees come from different backgrounds, there were ideas that I would never have thought of myself too. By being in an environment where innovation happens, I was reminded that I am one of the people who is coloring the blank canvas that is ONE DEJIMA. I will continue to update myself as I believe that my own growth will lead to the company’s growth.
This workshop deepened the unity among employees and clarified the path our company must take in order to “support the world from Nagasaki.”
Going forward, ONE DEJIMA will continue to grow together with its employees.

Through this video, we hope to share what kind of organization ONE DEJIMA is and the future we envision.
