TALON Development Workshop Held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
On September 18–19, 2025, a two-day workshop was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, focusing on the development of TALON, an AI-powered recruitment support system.
About the “TALON Project”
The TALON Project is a joint initiative with DI Lab, a group company of ONE (Ocean Network Express) responsible for AI system development. The system under development, named TALON, is designed to address key recruitment challenges identified by ONE DEJIMA, with the following objectives:
- Shortening lead time in the selection process to enhance the candidate experience
- Reducing reliance on subjective or individual standards in evaluations
- Improving the overall capability of staff involved in recruitment
From ONE DEJIMA, CEO Toyama and HR team member Kawakami joined the workshop, together with representatives from ONE Tech Stop, another group company of ONE, who gathered from offices in Singapore, Korea, and Vietnam. Participants actively exchanged views on current recruitment challenges and discussed the functions expected from TALON in the future.
They also had the opportunity to test the demo system currently under development, engaging in further discussion about its usability and directions for enhancement.
The utilization of AI is expected to accelerate further in the years to come. At ONE DEJIMA, under the theme of “Empowering the global business from Nagasaki.”, we aim to continuously create new value beyond conventional boundaries, even in highly specialized tasks we undertake as a KPO.
By combining technology, including AI, with existing operations, we strive to generate new forms of value. The TALON Project represents a significant step forward toward the vision we pursue at ONE DEJIMA.
