In response, ONE DEJIMA has been working with the Rice Terraces Preservation Cooperative to create a space for employees, their families, and friends to gather and learn through farm work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Six ONE DEJIMA employees participated on this day. They gathered at the Onakao rice terrace at 9 a.m. and received an explanation about the rice&#8217;s growth status and the day&#8217;s schedule from the Preservation Cooperative members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"602\" height=\"451\" src=\"https:\/\/www.one-dejima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Picture1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-826\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.one-dejima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Picture1.jpg 602w, https:\/\/www.one-dejima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Picture1-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 602px) 100vw, 602px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>After the briefing, everyone moved to the paddies to start weeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rice plants were growing vibrant and green!<br>Building on the previous rice-planting event, participants carefully removed weeds like <strong>Burhead<\/strong> and <strong>Arrowhead<\/strong> that had sprouted between the rice plants.
