The Nagasaki University International Student Exchange \u201cSummer Festival 2025\u201d on September 26th was a major success, and ONE DEJIMA was thrilled to be part of the vibrant, international gathering. This event is held annually to promote cross-cultural exchange among students and strengthen ties between the university and the local community. This year was particularly special, as the festival expanded its reach as a supporting initiative for the \u201cNagasaki Peace Culture Festival 2025,\u201d truly making it a day where Nagasaki\u2019s rich culture met its growing international community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
President Toyama took the stage during the festival to deliver an inspiring message to a united audience of international students and locals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Quiz Booth: Company Introduction & Community Interaction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
ONE DEJIMA set up a booth at the venue, distributing English company leaflets to the students, and engaged attendees with a fun \u201cONE DEJIMA Quiz\u201d where participants could win company merchandise, which was a hit with both international students and locals. This interactive approach served as a valuable opportunity for everyone to better understand ONE DEJIMA\u2019s business, the parent company Ocean Network Express (ONE), and ONE DEJIMA\u2019s commitment to Nagasaki\u2019s history and initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The festival featured a wide array of cultural performances, including Nagasaki Nanzan High School Kendo Club, Bian Lian Performance, Japanese Taiko Drumming, Chindoya Street Performance, and Yosakoi dance by the student group \u201cToppu\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Through this event, ONE DEJIMA successfully built stronger relationships and mutual understanding with students, locals, and international students, and will continue to boost Nagasaki\u2019s international profile and promote local engagement as a community-rooted company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
