For this workshop, we invited Mr. Nakamura (Goto Islands Nakamura Tadashi Company) and Mr. Torisu (Better) from Team ONE DEJIMA to serve as facilitators, leading a lively and productive discussion. Each employee shared the company’s strengths and challenges, and we delved deeply into the ideal form ONE DEJIMA should take to achieve the goal of “Supporting the World from Nagasaki.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this workshop, as I reconsidered the theme, “Supporting the World from Nagasaki,” I confronted the question: “What kind of company should ONE DEJIMA be?” While I found the lively exchange of differing opinions on each member’s ideal form to be exciting, I also felt the difficulty of getting everyone on the same page.
Reflecting deeply on the significance of ONE DEJIMA’s start, the gathering of its members, and its path toward growth in Nagasaki, I am determined to commit myself to continuous self-improvement every day so that I can be a proud and professional member of this team that supports both ONE and the world from here.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

I remember how energized I felt in the meeting as we discussed everyone’s “A-sides and B-sides” and what ONE DEJIMA could do as a Key Performance Organization (KPO) to revitalize Nagasaki. Furthermore,  Mr. Nakamura’s discussion on “how to communicate” during the workshop really resonated with me. I\u2019ve decided to visit the Goto Islands soon.<\/p>\n<\/div>
