On October 3rd, ONE DEJIMA reached a new milestone by hosting its very first Naitei-shiki (Job Offer Ceremony). The event marked the official welcome of five new team members who will join in April 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s incoming members come from diverse backgrounds \u2014 three from China, one from Korea, and one from Indonesia. Among them, three are international students who have studied at universities in Japan, bringing a valuable blend of Japanese academic experience and deep cultural roots from their home countries. This symbolizes ONE DEJIMA\u2019s growing global community and inclusive environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ceremony began with inspiring words from President Toyama about the ONE DEJIMA mission of \u201cEmpowering Global Business from Nagasaki\u201d and shared the characteristics of ONE DEJIMA members \u2013 Vitality, Growth Mindset, GRIT, and Curiosity. Following his speech, Senior Managing Director Kosasa presented each member with a Certificate of Job Offer. Each new member then gave a self-introduction and shared an aspect of their culture through engaging slide presentations. Their stories and insight gave everyone in attendance a wonderful glimpse into their diverse backgrounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hello everyone,
I am Toyama, President of ONE DEJIMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, I am very happy to welcome the new members who will join us in 2026.
First of all, I would like to thank your families and all people inside and outside our company who supported you until today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we have five new colleagues join us from China, Korea, and Indonesia. Each of you has a different culture and background. Your diversity and experience will be a great strength for ONE DEJIMA. Nagasaki\u2019s \u201cDejima\u201d was once the only place that connected Japan and the world. Today, in Nagasaki again, it is very meaningful that many cultures and ideas come together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ONE DEJIMA was born as a \u201cglobal KPO,\u201d a kind of \u201cKnowledge Dejima\u201d from Nagasaki.
The name \u201cDejima\u201d means more than name of the island. It means to step out from the old way and create new value. I hope you will enjoy this challenge, and grow into people who make proposals in an innovative way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For our current members, the new colleagues with many cultures and ideas will be a strong driver for growth. By respecting differences and learning from each other, we will build a stronger company together toward 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It is the stage to deliver new value from here in Nagasaki to the world.
