{"id":1004,"date":"2025-05-09T14:19:00","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T05:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.one-dejima.com\/?p=1004"},"modified":"2025-10-23T15:08:02","modified_gmt":"2025-10-23T06:08:02","slug":"%e3%80%8c%e7%ac%ac61%e5%9b%9e%e9%95%b7%e5%b4%8e%e3%83%8f%e3%82%bf%e6%8f%9a%e3%81%92%e5%a4%a7%e4%bc%9a-in-%e6%9d%b1%e4%ba%ac%e3%80%8d%e3%81%ab%e5%8f%82%e5%8a%a0%e3%81%97%e3%81%be%e3%81%97%e3%81%9f","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.one-dejima.com\/en\/news\/other\/1004\/","title":{"rendered":"ONE DEJIMA Participated in the 61st Nagasaki Kite-Flying (Hata-Age) Tournament in Tokyo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On April 29, 2025, with the goal of increasing ONE DEJIMA&#8217;s recognition and fostering exchange with people from Nagasaki residing in Tokyo, we participated in the &#8220;61st Nagasaki &#8216;Hata-Age&#8217; Tournament in Tokyo (at Tamagawa Ryokuchi Residents&#8217; Plaza),\u201d an event organized by the Nagasaki Vidro Association (\u9577\u5d0e\u30d3\u30fc\u30c9\u30ed\u4f1a\u3000Association of Nagasaki City Natives in Tokyo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*In Nagasaki, kites are called &#8220;Hata&#8221; (rather than the common Japanese \u201ctako\u201d), and &#8220;Hata-Age&#8221; (kite flying) is considered one of Nagasaki&#8217;s three major annual events, alongside the &#8220;Nagasaki Kunchi&#8221; festival and the &#8220;Sh\u014dr\u014d Nagashi&#8221; (Spirit Boat Procession).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"491\" height=\"354\" src=\"https:\/\/www.one-dejima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-665\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.one-dejima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image.png 491w, https:\/\/www.one-dejima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image-300x216.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 491px) 100vw, 491px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The event featured various activities that allowed attendees to experience Nagasaki culture, including &#8220;Hata-Age,&#8221; performances of the traditional art of &#8220;Ja Odori&#8221; (Dragon Dance), and the selling of Nagasaki&#8217;s famous &#8220;Champon&#8221; noodles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This time, we created and displayed original ONE DEJIMA kites and introduced our company&#8217;s initiatives to the visitors. By directly interacting with many people, we had the opportunity to feel that interest in and recognition of our company is steadily growing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"466\" height=\"491\" src=\"https:\/\/www.one-dejima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-666\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.one-dejima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image-1.png 466w, https:\/\/www.one-dejima.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/image-1-285x300.png 285w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 466px) 100vw, 466px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Going forward, our company will continue to contribute to the promotion of Nagasaki&#8217;s culture through active participation in such events. We will also press ahead with the realization of our mission, &#8220;Supporting the World from Nagasaki,&#8221; through corporate activities rooted in the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are currently actively recruiting new colleagues.
