Guest Presentation at BSIA Monthly Meeting
On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, President Toyama delivered a presentation at the monthly meeting hosted by the Business System Initiative Association (BSIA), a specified non-profit organization.
Under the theme “Empowering global business from Nagasaki: The Challenges of a Dejima-style Startup Born from the Maritime Industry,” the presentation highlighted the origins of ONE DEJIMA as a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) firm and the various challenges it has undertaken. Drawing on his experience with the establishment of Ocean Network Express (ONE) and subsequent corporate integrations, President Toyama explained ONE DEJIMA’s pivotal role in business process visualization and human resource development, as well as the future value the company aims to deliver.
Following the presentation, participants broke into small groups for in-depth table discussions, followed by a plenary session with the speaker to share key insights. The participants showed great interest in the “behind-the-scenes” story of ONE’s founding, the difficulties faced during organizational integration, and the future trajectory of ONE DEJIMA. It was impressive to see participants engaging in discussions while drawing parallels to their own professional experiences.
As this was the final meeting of the year, the event was followed by a networking reception and year-end party. President Toyama was met with a continuous stream of questions and comments from members–so much so that the dialogue continued non-stop throughout the evening. This served as a powerful reminder of the high level of interest in ONE DEJIMA’s initiatives. Some participants even expressed their desire to hear more in the future, stating, “We would love to hear more about the state of ONE DEJIMA again in three to five years.”
ONE DEJIMA will continue to contribute the creation of new value through dialogue that transcends industry and organizational boundaries.

ONE DEJIMA was established in Nagasaki and recently celebrated its first year of operations.
With the support of ONE’s headquarters in Singapore (GHQ), our local partners in Nagasaki, and the dedication of every team member, we have steadily expanded our scope and continue to grow as a vital part of ONE’s global network.
Even within the ONE Group, we are aware that our presence is not yet fully recognized.
To commemorate our first anniversary and increase awareness, we created a company introduction video.
The video showcases how ONE DEJIMA was established, the core operations entrusted to us by GHQ, and the dynamic team driving our daily work—all set against the beautiful backdrop of Nagasaki, a historic gateway to the world.
As a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) hub supporting ONE’s core operations, we are committed to creating greater value together with our colleagues around the world.
Through this video, we hope to share what kind of organization ONE DEJIMA is and the future we envision.
We also hope it will inspire new colleagues to join us in taking on the next challenge.
