Announcement of the 1st DEJIMA SALON
ONE DEJIMA has launched “DEJIMA SALON,” an initiative to foster new connections and co-creation across diverse fields. DEJIMA SALON aims to be a community hub originating in Nagasaki, which brings together a variety of people to generate innovation.
To mark the occasion of the inaugural DEJIMA SALON, we hosted a Town Hall Meeting on November 14, 2024. We were honored to invite Mr. Toda, President and CEO, along with Mr. Go and Mr. Kitamura, both Directors and Senior Managing Executive Officers, from Ocean Network Express Japan Pte. Ltd. (ONE JAPAN).
During the Town Hall Meeting, we were thoroughly introduced to ONE JAPAN’s mission, organizational structure, and their initiatives across various business units. This comprehensive session gave us a concrete grasp of their on-site sales activities and daily operational realities. By understanding their work so deeply, the connection to the tasks we are contracted to perform became significantly clearer. This proved to be an invaluable opportunity, directly paving the way for us to enhance the efficiency and quality of our future work.
Through these study sessions, the DEJIMA SALON aspires to significantly broaden our circle of communication, connecting not just our employees, but also the wider community and residents of Nagasaki. We are already planning the next session with great excitement, so please look forward to further announcements and join us in building this vibrant hub!
