ONE DEJIMA held its 1st Anniversary Event!
On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, ONE DEJIMA Co., Ltd. marked its first anniversary and held a commemorative event at the office.
We were honored to welcome many guests and stakeholders who have supported us over the past year, resulting in a grand gathering of 70 attendees in total.

It was an opportunity to reflect on the journey of the past year and reaffirm our resolve for future endeavors.
■ Opening
At the start of the event, our CEO, Toyama, provided an overview of our business performance for the 2024 fiscal year and the direction we aim to take from the 2025 fiscal year onward.
Through a video presentation reflecting on the past year, the following points were shared with all of the stakeholders and guests who have been continually supporting us, as well as with all 28 ONE DEJIMA employees.
【The Past Year in Numbers】

First, the number of employees has remarkably increased from 5 at the time of establishment to 28 employees, and we have welcomed over 30 interns in total, both paid and unpaid.
Furthermore, we were able to fully launch our new graduate recruitment for the 2026 fiscal year.
Collaboration with students and the local community has also steadily progressed, expanding our affiliated educational institutions to 7 schools.
We are building a solid foundation for future talent development.

Since our founding, we’ve expanded our business focus far beyond the initial HR operations (recruitment activities), branching out into numerous other areas.
Moreover, starting this fiscal year, we also began accepting outsourced accounting operations from companies outside the ONE Group and now offer services to 4 affiliated companies.
【Business Direction】

Moving forward, we will further strengthen our existing initiatives and will also explore broader fields, such as outsourcing and DX promotion advisory services for small and medium-sized enterprises, and regional co-creation projects including export business support and overseas expansion support.
Furthermore, an external research institution measured the economic impact of ONE DEJIMA on Nagasaki Prefecture economy over the one-year period from April 2024 to March 2025. In total, the economic effect reached 128,363,000 yen, which includes the direct, primary ripple, and secondary ripple effects generated by employment creation, visitor creation, and events held.
We will continue to accelerate our economic contribution to Nagasaki, primarily through job creation.

As outlined above, ONE DEJIMA has been able to achieve significant growth over the past year thanks to the support of many people.
We would like to take this opportunity to once again express our gratitude to everyone. We’ve realized the importance of reflecting on our original mission and values.
The key factors for ONE DEJIMA are:
“Specialization” x “Nagasaki” x “Global” x “Digital & Business Reform”
As a global KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) company established in Nagasaki, we practice initiatives that combine these factors daily. All these factors represent both our key strength and our identity core. With the core ideas of “Business Improvement Proposals” and “From Nagasaki to the World” at the heart of ONE DEJIMA, we prepared three main programs for this commemorative event.
■ Main Program ①
~ONE DEJIMA Business Improvement Ideathon~
We held the final round of the in-house business improvement contest, “Ideathon.”
The three teams that advanced through the preliminary rounds presented their improvement proposals.
They showcased practical efforts aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of KPO operations, receiving strong validation and positive feedback from the audience.
A special thank you to all guest judges for their cooperation in the voting process.

~Secret Stories of Creation & Tasting Session by Mr. Kadota, Distiller at GOTOGIN~
As a special feature of this event, we also unveiled the “ONE DEJIMA Original GOTOGIN.”
With the cooperation of Goto Tsubaki Distillery, and themed around “A unique and harmonious flavor where botanicals from the five continents converge,” the gin was finished with a gentle, fruity, berry-like aroma that matched our corporate colors.
The special time was enjoyed by all participants, featuring a talk by the distiller, Mr. Kadota, on the secret stories behind its creation, followed by a tasting session.
To everyone at Goto Tsubaki Distillery and all those who cooperated in its production, thank you so much for crafting such a wonderful product.

~Corporate Movie Premiere~
To mark our first anniversary, and with the cooperation of members from our parent company, ONE, we created a corporate movie to bring our ambitions to life.
More than just an introductory video, the work embodies our pride as a member of the ONE Group and our firm resolve to move forward toward the future.
Please look forward to the completed video that will be released on this website soon!

■ In Closing
At ONE DEJIMA, we are committed to our mission, “Empowering Global Business from Nagasaki,” and will continue to grow alongside various stakeholders, including the local community. We ask for your continued support as ONE DEJIMA enters its second year!
Finally, we sincerely thank everyone who participated in the event.
ONE DEJIMA was established in Nagasaki and recently celebrated its first year of operations.
With the support of ONE’s headquarters in Singapore (GHQ), our local partners in Nagasaki, and the dedication of every team member, we have steadily expanded our scope and continue to grow as a vital part of ONE’s global network.
Even within the ONE Group, we are aware that our presence is not yet fully recognized.
To commemorate our first anniversary and increase awareness, we created a company introduction video.
The video showcases how ONE DEJIMA was established, the core operations entrusted to us by GHQ, and the dynamic team driving our daily work—all set against the beautiful backdrop of Nagasaki, a historic gateway to the world.
As a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) hub supporting ONE’s core operations, we are committed to creating greater value together with our colleagues around the world.
Through this video, we hope to share what kind of organization ONE DEJIMA is and the future we envision.
We also hope it will inspire new colleagues to join us in taking on the next challenge.
