ONE DEJIMA participated as an exhibitor in “DEJIMA HAKU 2025” (hosted by Nagasaki International Television, Inc.), which was held from May 3rd to 6th, 2025, across the Kamome Square at Amu Plaza Nagasaki, DEJIMA MESSE NAGASAKI, and Nagasaki Seaside Park area.

This is a large-scale, public participation event designated as the first project under the “Nagasaki Creation Project,” which aims to overcome Nagasaki City’s population decline and enhance regional vitality.

Impressively Large Container Exhibition
At our booth in Kamome Square, we exhibited a real 40-foot container that is currently in use, allowing visitors to experience the scale of something they don’t usually see up close.

Around the container, our staff were on hand to give explanations and a photo spot was also set up, where many people enjoyed taking photos with the container.

Participation in “Kids Job Challenge in Nagasaki”
At the “Kids Job Challenge in Nagasaki,” held at DEJIMA MESSE NAGASAKI, where children can experience various jobs, we introduced the work of the shipping industry.

At the ONE DEJIMA booth, we held activities such as deck billiards and a simulated container loading experience onto ships floating on water. This provided the children with an opportunity to learn about the work of a shipping company and global logistics, simultaneously deepening their understanding of “work” itself.

Picture Book Reading of “Jean-Pierre Sails the Seven Seas”
During the event, we also held a reading of the picture book Jean-Pierre Sails the Seven Seas, which is themed around maritime shipping.

This picture book was supervised by our parent company, Ocean Network Express (ONE). The story aims to convey the charm of “maritime shipping” to children through stories about the sea and ships.

This event was a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of the maritime shipping industry and the activities of ONE DEJIMA with the public.

We received powerful support for this event from ONE Japan (https://jp.one-line.com/en)
and AOCTEL (Advanced Ocean Container Transport Engineering Lab,

Thank you very much to everyone who came to visit us!

ENJA
1st Anniversary EditionONE DEJIMA Company Introduction Video

ONE DEJIMA was established in Nagasaki and recently celebrated its first year of operations.

With the support of ONE’s headquarters in Singapore (GHQ), our local partners in Nagasaki, and the dedication of every team member, we have steadily expanded our scope and continue to grow as a vital part of ONE’s global network.

Even within the ONE Group, we are aware that our presence is not yet fully recognized.

To commemorate our first anniversary and increase awareness, we created a company introduction video.

The video showcases how ONE DEJIMA was established, the core operations entrusted to us by GHQ, and the dynamic team driving our daily work—all set against the beautiful backdrop of Nagasaki, a historic gateway to the world.

As a Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) hub supporting ONE’s core operations, we are committed to creating greater value together with our colleagues around the world.

Through this video, we hope to share what kind of organization ONE DEJIMA is and the future we envision.

We also hope it will inspire new colleagues to join us in taking on the next challenge.
